ZZ1.08 Visiting Author: Dominic Barker

Dominic Barker visited our school on 16th September and ran workshops with Years 4 and 5.  After school a book signing was held in the playground.

Year 5 Visit to Murley House

Year 5 went to Murley House to play Ukuleles to the residents. 

Year 4 enjoyed a visit from HInkley Point

The education team from Hinkley Point visit Year 4 and help with their science curriculum.

Y4.2008 Lowry Day

For art Year 4 studied L S Lowry and came to school dressed as figures from his paintngs.

Wind in the Willows

Our musical production for 2006. Over 100 children took part, in the choir and as characters. It was a fantastic performance, WELL DONE.

Taunton in Bloom 2007

This year our entry was 'Plants we can Eat and Mini-Beasts', we came second.

In 2006 we won the entry for the best decorated school entrance.

1. MASS BALLOON RELEASE 2005

To help celebrate John Wyatt Day on 1st July we held a mass balloon release. John Wyatt founded the first Trull School over 250 years ago.

1. NEW GATES 2007

Our new school gates were erected during half term. Designed and made by one of our parents these beautiful ironwork gates truly enhance the entrance to our school.

1. FIRST DIG OF NEW BUILDING

Bethany Husband made the first dig for our new building, ably assisted by her sister and younger brother.

6.2007 School Fete 2007

School Fete Friday 22nd June 2007, in between the rain showers we opened the fete with the fancy dress parade.

11.2007 Spellbinder Visit 07

The Spellbinder came on his annual visit and the children had a great time.

1.2008 Chinese New Year evening 26 January 08

Sue Morrice organised this event to raise money for ActionAid which helps poor families in Beijing.

04.2007 Showcase Concert

01. Our New Extension

We moved into our new extension in December 2005.

01. Photovoltaic Cells

Our Voltaic Photo Cells - Solar Panels - were officially switched on by two members of our Key Stage 2 students on Wednesday 11th July 2006. The panels are on the rear of the school, this is the monitor on display in the Reception Area.

01. Mosaic Mural

The children have created a mosaic mural on the external wall of the swimming pool. The design is based on drawings submitted by the children.
