In accordance with the Somerset Education Services Instrument of Government, made by Order of Somerset Local Education Authority on 30th March 2004, the Governing Body of Trull Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School consists of 14 members, as follows:

• 1 parent governor
• 1 LEA governor
• 4 staff governors
• 8 foundation governors, of whom 4 shall, at the time of their appointment be eligible for election or appointment as parent governors

Plus:

• The Headteacher is a member ex-officio
• The Incumbent of All Saints Church, Trull, shall be a foundation governor ex-officio.
